About Us
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” [Ephesians 4:15, 16 (ESV)]
We believe Christians are designed by God to be relationally connected to each other. As individual members of the body of Christ, we only function properly when connected to the other parts, speaking the truth in love to each other to grow up into Christ.
The ESC Body Life Ministry aims to facilitate fellowship, mutual encouragement, caring, and prayer in our congregation through a variety of initiatives, which includes (1) ESC events and programs, (2) fellowship groups, (3) our Care to Share Ministry and (4) ESC newsletters and publications.

Our Small Groups & Fellowships
Body Life Together (adults, all ages) - most Wednesday nights @ 7:30 pm
For the 2025 / 2026 BLT season, we will be going through the book of Ecclesiastes this year. Reach out to your small group leaders for details on weekly gatherings. For those who are new to BLT, looking for more information and/or looking to join our small group, reach out to Body Life Ministry (blm.esc@nycbc.ca).
Young Adult Fellowship (18 to 30 years) - every other Thursdays @ 7:00 pm
Reach out to Pastor James (james.lam@nycbc.ca) if you are looking to join and/or want to learn more about this fellowship.
Families with Young Children - every other Sundays @ 11:15 am
