Become a Volunteer Working with Children and Youths

Quick Steps:

Step 1: Volunteer Application

• Download, complete and return the Volunteer Application form to a Church Administrator. (Download)

Step 2: Police Vulnerable Sector Checks (Police Checks)

• Applicants 18 years or older must submit a Police Vulnerable Sector Check. This Check will be repeated every 5 years. Subsequently, Annual Defence Declaration will also be required.

Step 3: Abuse Prevention Training

• Attend an Abuse Prevention Training. (Next training date: Jan 4, 2020 )

Step 4: NYCBC Child, Youth and Vulnerable Person Protection Policy and Procedure

• Make sure you receive a copy of this procedure from the ministry coordinator or the church office. Review the sign the policy to acknowledge receipt.

Already signed up?

• Complete Annual Defence Declaration.
